Today I was out doing the normal Saturday errands, and I stopped at Food Basics to buy groceries. It is a discount grocery store.
I was impressed with the produce selection in particular. However, the dairy section was not so impressive. The milk expired on November 11, which meant I had to stop at another grocery store. That means that despite the fact that prices are a bit lower, I ended up spending more in total.

Food Basics is like...glamour-rama compared to Price Chopper. It's true - their produce section is often very good there as they have a high turnover [that's my theory]. At Price Chopper everything just sucks!
