Today I tried a pluot. It's a cross between an apricot and a plum, and is definitely closer to the plum side.
The verdict? The taste was fine, but it was far too juicy, and difficult to get off the pit.

Never heard of one, thanks for the information, will have to try one.
ReplyDeleteI've heard of those and seen them...but I never but 2 + 2 together to figure out that it's plum + apricot!
