I think I've mentioned before that I'm not the kind of person who remembers geography. It just doesn't stick in my brain. The same applies to history - I find it interesting, but won't remember it unless I have something already in my head to connect it to. (I know where & what Hadrian's wall is, for example, because I've been there. Prior to being there, I don't remember ever having heard of it.)
Anyway, inspired by Sydney, today I did some National Geographic quizes.
I got 50% on the Toronto quiz, 50% on Venice, 70% on London, and 63% on Rome. I have been to all of those places. Apparently, I should pay more attention.

ReplyDeleteThe Venice quiz was hard - I was there and I loved it and I have since read books on it since I was so interested...and I still stunk.
I think I've stolen ideas from you in the past. :) I'm too lazy to look it up, though.
