We pay $5 a month for the privilege of reading it online. I like that, and don't mind paying for it, because I can read the paper anywhere we go and Terry and I can read the paper at the same time. The ONLY reason I want the local paper is to read the obituaries. oh, and some local news that no other paper is going to print. I enjoy the SF Chronicle and buy the Sunday paper version for $3 each week. It is currently sitting on my dining room table, awaiting my perusal.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4640945602977972878.post-72234618544783442112012-09-23T07:50:20.645-04:002012-09-23T07:50:20.645-04:00I agree completely - with so much free content on ...I agree completely - with so much free content on the internet, charging for content is never going to be a working model. Do you think this is the end of newspapers as we know them? I have heard that the Ottawa Citizen, in particular, is close to folding.
